She spent her early years in Malaysia and Australia, before finally settling in Chiang Mai. Lanna's mother (Soontaree Vechanont) was a notable folk singer in Thailand with the Garan Manophet group and Lanna has pursued her own singing career with a style that varies from rock, hip hop to ballads and pop.
