Alexandre Guimarães is a composer and a guitar player. He was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. Listenning to master Toninho Horta learned guitar language . He took guitar and improvisation classes with Juarez Moreira and Celso Moreira. To complete his musical education he studied harmony and arrangement with the Cuban maestro Nestor Lombida.
