Aujalyn formed in late 2003 and opened for bands such as Trapt, Three Days Grace, Blindside, and Hed PE. After touring for a while, Bass player Rich Kriete left the band and was replaced by Dave. In 2006, Aujalyn left Illinois for Los Angeles to further develop their fan base, write more music, and record a demo. All of which they achieved. They cut a three song demo at Record Planet in hollywood. Shortly after returning to Illinois, Robby Harris left the band to pursue "other things".
