Brett Ratliff is a member of a new generation of musicians who are taking up the traditional music of Appalachia and presenting it to audiences at home and around the world. Brett, a frequent member of and collaborator with string bands through Eastern Kentucky, released his debut solo album Cold Icy Mountain in June 2008.
