Raleigh, North Carolina musician Dulcimer Dan is a hammered dulcimer player who has been practicing for years. As a registered nurse he would often play in the nurse's lounge at the hospital while he was on break. Soon he formed the Blue Skies Band with some local musicians and released an album entitled Shepherd's Wife's Waltz.
