Eirini Merkouri (Ειρήνη Μερκούρη in Greek) (b. in Ilion, Athens, on May 26, 1981) is a Greek pop singer. Born into a family of musicians, she began showing interest in being a singer at a very young age, at age seven she would mimic all the singers she would see on tv. She recorded her first solo album "Na fisaei i Anoixi", (Να Φυσάει η Άνοιξη in Greek), in 2001 and has sung duets with various different artists such as Antonis Remos, and Sarbel.
