Isabel at Sunset formed in Parma, Italy in early 2006. Prior to 2006, the main components of the band - Danilo Balconi (Balkous - guitar), Alain Marenghi (vocals), and Federico del Santo (The Saint- guitar) - knew each other and played in various local projects for years in and around Parma.
