James Newton Chadwick is a fingerstyle guitarist and contemporary folk songwriter. He has written and recorded a number of songs with Turner Prize-nominated artist and Guardian cartoonist David Shrigley, some of which were included on Shrigley's 'Worried Noodles' compilation alongside tracks from Franz Ferdinand and Grizzly Bear. He has played with and supported a number of other musicians including Hot Chip and John Smith. James is currently recording his debut album in London and Paris, where he now lives.
