Jason Ward was born in Sechelt, British Columbia in 1974. He spent his childhood years growing up in Gibsons, British Columbia until about the age of 11. From there he moved to Toronto, Ontario where he spent his teenage years. He attended Central Technical School where he spent 4 years in the school's music program including electronic keyboarding and computers with MIDI.
