Monitoimikone was founded somewhere in year 2005 by Melodica-Man, DJ Åkka and O. LehtoPekka. The first studio session was only supposed to be a (bad) joke, but after guys recorded two legendary songs called PeltoLada and Maanantaiaamun krapula they soon realized they could take the whole thing a bit farther. After a while the drummer of the band, O. LehtoPekka quit the band and Monitoimikone had to go to look for a new "drummer".
