Shankmin is a three-piece band from Frederick, Maryland that began writing music in 2004. They file themselves under the semi-non-existent genre Grungecore - Music reminiscent of Helmet, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, etc. but with metal and hardcore influence, breakdowns, riffing and LOTS of distortion.
