Shinichiro Sato, or more familiarly "Shin-chan", is the drummer for Japanese rock band The Pillows. He has been with the group since their formation in 1989, and founds his style in something between Ringo Starr and Dave Grohl, among others. His playing greatly revolves around a solid 8-beat, which greatly dominates the whole production of The Pillows, but with little things and small twists of the wrist he manages to keep it interesting.
