Son of Portslade was formed and then born in a bedroom in Portslade (a fine resort affiliated with Brighton and Hove) in the last century. He learned the guitar- then the bass, mandolin, banjo and ukelele and played with many groups in the Brighton and Hove area before moving to Scotland.
