Born in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico into a family of distinguished musicians, Willy Torres has had a thriving musical career since childhood. In his early teens he was singing backup for Menudo, and at age 16 he toured Latin America and Europe with Larry Harlow and the Latin Legends Orchestra. During this time, Willy worked with Latin musica greats Adalberto Santiago, Ray Baretto, Junior Gonzalez, Ismael Miranda, Nestor Sanchez, and Yomo Toro.
